Li Lian is a clinical psychologist who has over 11 years of experience in working with adolescents and adults in the clinical and forensic settings. She has worked in a variety of settings including private practice, community and prisons.
Lilian believes in providing individualized, client-focused and strengths based approach to therapy, and practices from a variety of frameworks including CBT, ACT, mindfulness-based therapies, motivational interviewing, EMDR and Schema therapy. She enjoys working with adults to assist with difficulties including anger management and aggression, anxiety, depression, addictions, PTSD, and forensic issues. Li Lian has experience working with violent offenders including DV perpetrators. She is also particularly interested in cross-cultural difficulties and the role of culture in therapy.
