Mindfulness

One breath at a time…what if we just took a moment to pause, to become still, to take care of ourselves?

The benefit of mindfulness practices for both our clients and ourselves as clinicians is at the core of this group supervision.

Held every four weeks, each session board approved supervisor Jacqueline Sander dives deep into one facet of mindfulness practices including developing introspective awareness through mindfulness, basic breathing practices, loving kindness and compassion practices, mindfulness for children, mindfulness as a reflective tool for clinicians, and mindfulness for specific presentations.

Within the group there are experiential offerings to practice mindfulness together. You get to experience the benefits of the practice for yourselves and how those may be helpful for our clients as well as possible contraindications are discussed. Supervisees are invited to ask questions, reflect on the experiential practices, and engage in reflective practice.
