Employer Support

We have had a great response to our Employer Support webpage and it has provided the perfect avenue to launch a new service that we are releasing today 'Consultation for Allied Health Employers.' Employers will now be able to obtain one on one guidance from experienced Practice Managers who are also Board Approved Supervisors and Psychologists, providing a unique insight and knowledge based to draw from.

Employers will be able to ask tricky questions, discuss challenges and ideas. Many private practices operate with small management teams and many NDIS providers don't have a registered psychologist onsite. This is a unique opportunity to participate in individual consultation for a more collaborative based approach to managing your practice, that you may not have previously had access to.

Here are some examples of questions we get that can and should be discussed with someone qualified and experienced to provide these answers.

  • Am I providing the right support for my team?
  • Psychometric Assessments to use within my practice?
  • Is my workplace suitable to support a provisional psychologist?
  • What do I need to have in place to support a provisional psychologists?
  • What type of clients can a provisional psychologist see?
  • What is a good caseload?
  • What can I charge for sessions?
  • How do I explain to clients what seeing a provisional psychologist means?
  • How can I support them to be successful in their internship program?
  • How do I recruit provisional psychologists?
  • How can I plan for future recruitment needs, workforce development and sustaining my team?

We recommend that prior to attending any Consultation for Allied Health Employers, that you first review our employer support webpage. As a reminder this page provides the following information;
