Lisa has over 9 years experience in individual therapy with adults in community mental health, vocational rehabilitation, private practise and not for profit organisations.

She is passionate about reducing stigma and connecting with individuals to improve their quality of life and reconnection with values. She provides a range of interventions for mild to complex presentations including ACT, DBT, CBT, narrative therapy, schema therapy, motivational interviewing, brief solutions focused therapy and brief psychodynamic therapy. She believes in applying a humanistic approach to her work that is empowering, validating and acknowledging the unique qualities/strengths people inherently possess. 

Lisa commenced practicing EMDR in 2022 and is on the pathway to gaining EMDR accreditation. She has found this type of therapy to provide improvements for a range of issues including anxiety, phobias, GAD, OCD, health anxiety, complex trauma and DID.

The types of issues Lisa provides therapy for have included: relationship and interpersonal conflict/issues, confidence/self-esteem, worry, grief and loss, domestic violence, body-image concerns, complex trauma, self-harm, suicidality, OCD, PTSD, personality disorders, schizophrenia, phobias, agoraphobia, anxiety and depression disorders.

Lisa aims to provide a supportive, collaborative and safe space for early career Psychologists to explore and build their professional identity, reflect on their practise and achieve their professional ambitions.
