NPE and Intervention

A bit about Susan Doughty.

Working in the school system, I collaborate with school executives, staff, other educational departments, external agencies and practitioners to support students with a range of complex needs. This results in providing a wrap around support for student mental health and wellbeing, as well as achieving positive educational outcomes.

I provide a full suite of psychological services within schools and in my private practice. This includes goal setting, treatment planning and intervention, psychological and cognitive assessments, report writing as well as teacher and parent training around trauma and emotion coaching. Throughout my career I have conducted a variety of evidence based group and individual interventions.

During my work within the school setting I have responded to a variety of critical incidents including tragic events such as death, and most recently the devastating floods in the northern rivers area.

A bit about the group supervision sessions.
Weschler Cognitive Assessments
My group supervision session on Weschler Cognitive Assessments, provides participants with the opportunity to become familiar with cognitive assessments both manual and electronic, taking a closer look at administration of individual subtests, discussing analysis and interpretation of results, scoring and reporting in-line with current best practice in Australia. This group is suitable for beginners and experienced participants.
