Helen is a registered psychologist with over 25 years of clinical experience in both Australia and the United Kingdom in public, not for profit and private sectors. She has worked with children, adolescents and adults individually as well as providing therapy to families. While in the United Kingdom, she worked as a family therapist within the Multidimensional Treatment Foster Care Program. She also has experience in the Out of Home Care sector in Australia, providing clinical support to carers and children including the development of Positive Behaviour Support Plans.

Helen’s interests include trauma and attachment. She uses a number of therapy modalities in her work including Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. Helen is experienced with a number of different presentations such as anxiety, depression, gender identity issues, complex post-traumatic stress, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity disorder and attachment disorders.

She has been a Board Approved Supervisor for eight years and has a calm, supportive and strengths-based approach to supervision.
