Congratulations on selecting Professional Development workshop series Cognitive Assessments

What You'll Get!

  • Five Webinars
  • Downloadable Examples and Resources
  • Relevant Readings

Throughout this five-part series, we will explore issues pertaining to cognitive assessments. Katie provides a comprehensive introduction to five major components of cognitive testing, including purpose and preparation of cognitive assessments, administering cognitive assessments, gathering qualitative observations and what to do when testing errors occur.

It is important to note that this workshop series is not designed to provide provisional psychologists or psychologists direct training in any specific psychometric assessment resources. The series is designed to provide context and understanding of the purpose and process involved in the administration of psychometric assessment and the concepts to consider for those provisional psychologists taking these steps for the first time. Psychometric assessment versions change over time and therefore before administering any assessment you should ensure that you are sufficiently trained in the version of assessment you are administering and consult with your board approved supervisor on selection before commencing.
