Melissa has over 12 years' experience working with children, adolescents and families. She has worked in a range of roles, including child protection family support, residential care and child and youth tertiary mental health setting. Melissa currently works in a primary school and in private practice, in which she works with both adults and children. She has experience working with anxiety/depression, disabilities, behavioural difficulties, learning and cognitive issues.
Melissa is proficient in providing psychometric assessments to assess and monitor issues such as cognitive and academic profiles, ADHD, ASD, social skills, depression and anxiety. Melissa's area of passion is working from an attachment framework, within a systems approach to improving empathy, understanding, communication and co-regulation within families.
