Provisional Psychologist Hub Assistance Program

At the Provisional Psychologist Hub we are passionate about developing provisional psychologists skills, knowledge and confidence to allow them to meet the requirements of the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) and ultimately obtain full registration. The Provisional Psychologist Hub aims to provide a supportive environment, minimising the barriers of finding supervision and suitable professional development, provided all online allowing Australia wide access. As part of supporting our community, we have launched a personal hardship grant program, which acknowledges that there are many challenges outside of the registration program that impact on the wellbeing of our provisional psychologists.

Available Funding

Provisional Psychologist Hub will offer up to $1,000 in grants each financial year. The maximum each individual may be eligible for is $500 and smaller grants may be offered dependent on the circumstances.

Grants provided as part of this program are not intended for emergency relief, Provisional Psychologist Hub accept applications in two periods; January to May and July to November. Candidates will be notified in June and December or earlier at the discretion of Provisional Psychologist Hub. Grants are offered in the form of vouchers and cannot be used toward the cost of supervision or professional development with Provisional Psychologist Hub.

Once the maximum limit for this program has been reached for the financial year no further applications will be approved. Provisional Psychologist Hub reserves the right to withdraw approval of an application at the discretion of management. While Provisional Psychologist Hub does not guarantee that an application will be successful we do appreciate the time each person takes to submit their circumstances for consideration.
